claims, prior insurance, and credit history from consumer reporting agencies regarding
you and other individuals included in the quote process. Most major auto insurance
providers use credit information when calculating an initial insurance premium for
new customers. We believe consumers deserve to know when and why someone reviews your
credit information. Your social security number is not required, and our use of this
information will not adversely affect your credit history.
